You can receive a record suspension for any criminal offence provided you meet the record suspension eligibility requirements. Certain serious offences (such as murder) involve a sentence which involve a sentence that includes indefinite parole. Therefore, if you receive that kind of offence, you would never meet the eligibility requirements for a record suspension.
