What good reasons are there to apply for a waiver?
- A waiver for USA gives you the freedom to enter the United States whenever you please
- Waivers are good for multiple entries for up to 5 years.
- With a waiver for USA, you can apply for a FAST or NEXUS card, visas, or US citizenship.
Compelling reasons to apply for waiver indeed!
For many, a small mistake made years ago can limit their ability to move on. The US Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP) recognizes this:
The CBP recognizes that many who make mistakes, go on to lead productive lives, and perhaps want to take join their friends in Vegas, or take the kids to Disney, or for a sun-filled vacation California, Miami or even Hawaii. The CBP realizes that a mistake can limit your ability to take the trips and experience the freedoms that others enjoy.
This is why the waiver for USA program was created! To once again grant Canadians with criminal records the freedom to travel to or thrugh the US, and all they have to do, is apply for a waiver.
When the CBP approves the waiver package prepared by Express Pardons, you receive a letter of affirmation and an I-192 Waiver of inadmissibility document. Both the letter and the I-192 constitutes your US entry waiver nd must be presented when entering the United States. The waiver sets out the term of the waiver and basis for approval.
Entry waiver for USA is valid for multiple entries to the United States for the term of the document, which is issued for 1 to 5 years. The waiver must be renewed before expiry to maintain continuous access to the United States.
When you apply for a waiver, this guarantees you the right to the same treatment s any other border crosser who is not inadmissible. You can even apply for a FAST or NEXUS card with a US Entry Waiver.
