Obtaining Certified Criminal Records
When appropriate, Express Pardons utilizes the (CCRTIS) Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Services’ RTID system to expedite the return of certified criminal record results required for your record suspension. The RTID system consists of a new Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) and Workflow Manager. Currently, CCRTIS uses the system to electronically verify civil and criminal fingerprints against those in the national repository. The criminal functionality includes latent (crime scene) and ten print fingerprint searching. CCRTIS clients are benefiting from the advanced matching capabilities of the RTID AFIS and improved service delivery times made possible by electronic processing.
