Obtaining Certified Criminal Records
When appropriate, Express Pardons utilizes the (CCRTIS) Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Services’ RTID system to expedite the return of certified criminal record results required for your waiver application. Regardless of whether or not you have a criminal record in Canada you will need a certified criminal record as a part of your Waiver Application.
Obtaining Police and Court documents

Preparing the Waiver Packaging
All legal documents required by the Department of Homeland Security for your waiver application are prepared by Express Pardon. You will also need to include supporting documents such as letters of reference, letter of circumstance and proof of Canadian citizenship. An Express Pardons representative will let you know what documents and supporting documents will be required for your waiver application.
Submitting the Waiver Package to the U.S.
Once your waiver application package is complete it will be sent to you to file with the U.S. You will take the completed waiver package to your nearest border crossing or international border crossing to file the waiver. At that time a U.S. Customs official will take your application and your filing fee. They will also photograph and fingerprint you. From there they will process your application and then mail your waive to you once it is completed.
